Welcome to the Fourth Quarter installment of our Community Supported Artisans program for 2019! The vision of this CSA is to provide participants with the wares of small local craft businesses in one incredible weekly package for eight weeks each quarter. The participating Denver artisans all bring amazing levels of craftsmanship and creativity to what we consider one of the most unique CSA’s in the country!

Here’s How it Works

Every Monday for eight weeks, you will pop into the taproom between 4 and 7pm to receive an assortment of wares from the participating artisanal vendors. A representative from each business will always be present for you to chat about what they have included, how it was made, where the ingredients came from, etc. This quarter, each pick up will include incredible meats, bread, sweet & savory house-made treats, grow-house fresh greens and mushrooms, and of course, beer. In the spirit of collaboration, the vendors meet before each CSA to ponder weekly themes and create meals within many of the weekly boxes.

  • This CSA is designed for two (2) people.
  • Pickups will take place every Monday for 8 weeks, beginning October 14th, until December 2nd.
  • The cost for the eight (8) weeks is $510. You can pay with cash, check, or credit card in the taproom. If you pay with a credit card, there will be a $12 fee added to the total.
  • Pick up is every Monday at Call to Arms Brewing Company from 4 – 7pm. You may pick up after 7pm on Mondays until we close at 10pm, but the vendors will only be present until 7pm. If you are unable to make it on any particular Monday, please arrange for a friend or family member to pick up your CSA allotment. For those of you who can’t make Monday work in any way, we can only keep your goods refrigerated in our cooler through the close of the following day (Tuesday). Space is tight in there!
  • Please bring a reusable grocery bag (preferably insulated), box, or small cooler to carry your goodies out.
  • The CSA will be capped at 30 participants, so sign up quickly!
  • Last day to sign up is Wednesday, October 9th.

What’s Included?

  1. Beer: You will be able to choose two 32oz Crowlers to be filled with any of Call to Arms Brewing Company’s current Core beers or other seasonal small batch offerings.
  2. Meat: Colorado Craft Butchers will provide the perfect selection of pork, beef, and/or sausage for your grill, smoker, or crock pot.
  3. Bread: Raleigh Street Bakery’s weekly offering will be one full loaf of sourdough bread. Each loaf can include different combinations of organic flours, grains, seeds, dried fruit (and sometimes Call to Arms beer), that are sure to go great with your weekly offerings.
  4. Sweet and Savory: The Noshery and Pablo’s Coffee add a fun variety of surprises to your weekly basket. The Noshery contributes an assortment of sweet and savory hand-made treats: among the possibilities is everything from slice & bake cookies, galettes, biscuits, and mini sweet loaves, to take & bake cinnamon buns or mac & cheese, to house-made mustards, BBQ sauces, and Bloody Mary mix! Pablo’s Coffee will contribute a pound of house-roasted coffee on a biweekly basis to keep your mornings fresh and delicious as we enter the winter season.
  5. Garden: The GrowHaus hydroponic system and in-house mushroom propagation allow for an extended season of fresh garden fares. Alternating on a weekly basis, you will be provided hearty greens and hearty mushrooms.

Vendor BIOS:

Established in Spring of 2014, The Noshery is home to the students and faculty of Regis University, as well as the Berkeley community. Serving everything from scratch and with a smile is the precise culture, owner, Andrea Knight, has created at The Noshery, simply waiting for you to come meet everyone we call family!

Colorado Craft Butchers is a small meat processor and distributor, focused on working with small farms and ranches in the Denver area. We work with 100% Wagyu beef and Heritage breed pigs to bring you the best steaks, chops, burger, and hand-made sausages in Colorado.

Raleigh Street Bakery is an artisan bread bakery in the Berkeley/Regis neighborhood that operates under Colorado’s cottage food law. This allows you to purchase delicious artisan bread, directly from me, your neighbor. All of the breads are naturally leavened and made with locally sourced organic ingredients.

Pablo's Coffee

Pablo’s Coffee is a locally owned coffee procurer based in Denver, CO, practicing responsible fair trade methods and local community outreach programs.


The GrowHaus is a nonprofit indoor farm, marketplace and educational center in Denver’s Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Our vision is a world where all communities have the means to nourish themselves, and our mission is to create a community-driven, neighborhood-based food system by serving as a hub for food distribution, production, education, and economic opportunity.
