Call to Arms has more than exceeded the initial hype associated with these well-respected brewers starting an exciting new venture. CTA has consistently crushed hops with the Clintonian Pale Ale, has cleanly dabbled in the process of kettle souring, and is experimenting with open fermentation.
They had, what appeared to be, unrealistically high expectations for a new brewery and just went ahead and blew past all expectations. It was completely refreshing to walk into CTA and be greeted with a completely different aesthetic and take on brewing compared with so many newer breweries.
RAD Brewery! This place is awesome! We're lucky to have CTA in the Berkeley neighborhood. I've never had a bad beer here - no matter what style of beer they brew it's always at a high level. Also the staff has this unreal ability to remember your name even if you haven't been in some time. RAD.
They’re making lots of different styles of beer but all done really well. I love their Vienna Lager Amigos Borrachos. It’s super authentic.
They don’t worry about replicating past tradition, they don’t worry about setting the next future trend. They just hang out on Tennyson and quietly go about making fantastic beer. You can’t do anything other than respect (and enjoy) that.
It is not a stretch to say that the crown jewel of Tennyson Street is Call To Arms Brewing Company.
Call to Arms Brewing Company is located at 4526 Tennyson Street in the historic Berkeley neighborhood of Northwest Denver, Colorado. To learn more about our taproom and what beers are currently on tap, please visit our Taproom page.
